Local History Tour

At the top of each tree will be a photo of an Ormeau landmark, this will tell you where to 'hop' to next.

Each tree will offer a fascinating bit of local history about Ballynafeigh, provided by local historian Donal Kelly.

In the middle of each tree will be a theme for our photo competition.

  • A hamper from Indie Fude

  • A trip up and down the Lagan with the Lagan Currach Crew (after lockdown)

Tot Spots

For all of the little Spring chicks taking part, keep your eyes peeled for Bobtail the Ballynafeigh Bunny, who will be hosting the ‘Tot Spot’ on the lower level of each tree.

With the help of an adult, younger children will be able to find out fun facts about the season of Spring, take part in seasonal activities, hunt for our four top-secret, hidden Playzones. For those who discover the magic word, from Friday 2 until Monday 5 April,  their eggcellent efforts will be rewarded with a free chocolate egg and bottle of River Rock  water donated by the very kind staff of the Ormeau Road Mace. And a hot drink for their helper! Yum yum!
